Have YOU ever gone to a coffee shop? Then you should read this!
Proper etiquette for a coffee shop that 90% of customers DEFINITELY do not know
“TIP YOUR BARISTA.” why do people act like tipping is mandatory to be polite
just because you work in a food industry or soemthing doesnt make you like
permitted to get extra cash???
you dont tip guys in hardware shops or whatever idk why people who work in reasturants act like if you dont tip you’re a dick
or is that america
because mandatory tipping is fucking dumb i pay what i can afford lmao which is the costs on the menu
because a lot of the time they don’t make a salary. their pay is literally their tips and that’s it. at least that’s how it is here.
:???? how can you not have a salary isnt that illegal
i dunno, i don’t think it is here?? i dunno. i just know that people rely on their tips
wow everyone should leave america until its fixed america is literally full of bullshit omfg
but i still think its rude to expect tips and be thought off as a douche if you don’t…people often go to starbucks/coffee shops for treats and can just afford it but can’t afford tips and it’s not their fault….
service jobs here are pretty fucked like that.
i make it a policy of mine not to go to a coffee shop or other eatery unless i have enough money for my food + to leave a tip
yeah i just why the fuck isnt the company paying it’s employees :/// they can afford a small minimum wage jfc why rely on your customaers to pay your employees jesus
even an apprenticeship wage is like $8-9 here
